Searching by group requires a familiarity with the Mercedes-Benz group system. All vehicle components are categorized into functional groups. For example: the CD-Changer is Group 80, Subgroup 64 (80.64).

In order to search by Group either a Category/Subcategory has to be selected or left on the standard ALL setting. Selecting a Category/Subcategory will prevent documents to be displayed which you are not interested in.

The following usage example shows the functionality for searching by Group.

Select the search button from the top menu
Select the Group
Select the Subgroup
Click on SEARCH

The result list will now display:

All documents applicable to the specified Group/Subgroup combination are now displayed. The selection of a Subgroup is optional, though it reduces the number of results. All documents are displayed beginning with the latest published document for the selected group.
