Searching by group requires a familiarity with the Mercedes-Benz group system. All vehicle components are categorized into functional groups. For example: the CD-Changer is Group 80, Subgroup 64 (80.64).

The following usage example shows the functionality for searching by Group.

Select the Group link (if not already in Group Quick Search)
Enter the Group and (optional) Subgroup
Enter the Chassis Number
Click on SEARCH

OR

Select the Group link (if not already in Group Quick Search)
Enter the Chassis Number
Click on the Group from the menu

OR

Select the Group link (if not already in Group Quick Search)
Click on the Group from the menu

The result list will now display:

Example 1: All documents applicable to the specified Group/Subgroup combination for model 220 are now displayed.

Example 2: All documents applicable to the specified Group for model 220 are now displayed.

Example 3: All documents applicable to the specified Group are now displayed (all models).

The selection of a Subgroup is optional, though it reduces the number of results. All documents are displayed beginning with the latest published document for the selected group.
